Todd Anthony Edgar, 48, of Charleston, W.Va., passed away suddenly July 4th. He was born in Marietta, a 1982 graduate of Marietta High School and a graduate of Rhema Bible College.
Todd worked for Health Smart, where he leaves many good friends. Todd collected Native American art and enjoyed watching movies, was an avid Ohio State fan (which wasn't easy in Charleston), and loved to listen to and sing gospel music. Todd was a great friend on whom many depended and was appreciated for his calming influence and willingness to listen.
Todd is survived by his mother and friend, Peggy Stevens Edgar Dobson and her husband, Bill; Todd's brothers and their families, Craig, Paula, Benjamin, and Jaclyn Edgar; Doug, Debbie, Brady, and Case Edgar; Brad, Erika, Jayson, and Cameron Edgar, Donnie Pace, and Austin Davis; cherished friends, Royce Caldwell, Paul Miller, Kevin Tucker, Candi Moore, Michael Canterberry, Jason Hardway, and William and Martina Salyer; step-brothers, Bill, Craig, and Tim Dobson; and step-sister, Terri Lenartz. He was preceded in death by his father, Elwood Edgar and step-brother, Kirk Dobson.
Services will be at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., at noon on July 7, with visitation two hours prior. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to Marietta First Church of the Nazarene, 100 Mill Creek Road, Marietta 45750.
