As a resident of Glenwood Retirement Community during the recent power outage and water shortage, I feel obligated to publicly thank all of the wonderful employees for everything they did to make us comfortable.
Every employee from the general manager to the cooks and bakers went overboard to take care of our needs. Of special note were the several high school and college students who normally serve in our dining rooms. They did everything from helping us on blackened stairways, delivering messages and serving our meals; always cheerful and friendly.
My hat is off to all these wonderful folks and I know all of fellow residents me. Thanks.
