Jim and Linda DeLong celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married June 15, 1962, at the First Baptist Church in New Matamoras.
He is the son of the late Wilfred and Lillian DeLong. She is the daughter of the late Fernando and Gertrude Clayton of Malvern, Ark.
They are the parents of two daughters: Pam (Rich) Proctor of Colliersville, Tenn. and Kim (Wayne) Whitley Maumelle, Ark.; and one grandson, Jimmy.
He retired from Ormet Corporation as an electrician after 40 years. She was a homemaker and part-time clerk.
A special celebration was given by their daughters, with family and friends attending.
