Charles "Chuck" and Kathy Davis of 1530 Offenberger Road, Whipple, are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. They were married on the afternoon of July 15, 1972, at the Harmar Hill Church of Christ in Marietta.
His father was the late Oscar Davis and his mother is Mary Davis of Marietta. Her father was the late James Nolen and her mother is Vera Nolen of Marietta. They have three children: Chris (Becky) Davis of Marietta, Amy (Ryan) Parrish of Granville, Ohio, and Jason (Crystel) Davis of Bellbrook, Ohio. Additionally, they have three grandchildren: Abigail and Hannah Davis (Chris) and Kale Davis (Jason).
He graduated from Warren High School in 1967 and she in 1970. He works at Davis, Pickering and Company Electrical Contractors in Marietta and she is a homemaker. Both are members of the Lower Paw Paw Church of Christ in Lower Salem and he serves as an elder. They operate the Hilltop Sports archery and sporting clays range on their property. Other hobbies they share include enjoying nature, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He is an avid hunter and she enjoys NASCAR and rooting for Tony Stewart.
