Descendants of Charles Wesley and Mary Elizabeth Rouse Addlespurger's 35th reunion was held June 24 at the Marietta Township Park and Recreation Center at Reno. There were approximately 82 family and friends attending. The blessing on the food and fellowship was given by Diane Brown.
Prizes were given for the youngest baby, Rachel Anderson, seven months old; oldest man, Bud Murphy, 88; oldest woman, Betty Spindler, 86; traveled the furthest, Wilbur and Peggy Brown, from Mt. Carmel, Ill.; married the longest, Earl and Rose Hendricks, 60 years; newlyweds, Ben and Blythe Anderson, seven years. Door prizes went to Curtis Morganstern. Candy guess was won by Debbie Fritsche. Irene West Haught was honored with a recognition gift. A card was sent to Penny Naestzel who was unable to attend.
The 36th annual Addlesburger, Brown, Hendricks reunion is planned for next year with the date to be announced.
