July 23, 2012
The Marietta Times

On Friday, May 18, two Marietta High School Class of 1946 representatives presented to the Marietta High School Alumni and Friends Foundation Archives Representative, a check for $500 to help them continue their work in preserving the history of the alumni of Marietta High School. In addition to the check, and memorabilia given to them previously, they were also given a copy of the Class of 1946 Orian, the class yearbook. Additionally, they were presented with a "Teacher's Bell" used to call children to class from the old Willard School, originally located where the KFC Restaurant now stands.
