Local officials recovered the body about 10:30 a.m. Monday morning of a Sunday drowning victim.
Benjamin Jay Miller, 21, of Hadley Hollow Road, was swimming north of Devols Dam in the Muskingum River when he drowned around 4:45 p.m. Sunday. Area fire departments and law enforcement worked until 3 a.m. Monday to locate the body and began again at 7 a.m. Monday. Miller was ultimately found close to where the drowning took place.
