The parents and coaching staff of Club Ohio Soccer all girls U9 and U12 travel teams would like to sincerely thank Wal-Mart and the citizens of Marietta for the generosity that you displayed during the weekend of the River Roar. Wal-Mart was gracious enough to allow us to host a bake sale in the front of the entrance of the grocery side of the store.
During the two days we were in front of the store, the citizens of Marietta generously donated a sizable amount of money that will allow our girls to compete in multiple tournaments around the state over the next six months. This experience will allow our girls to gain significant exposure to teams from much larger cities. More importantly it will us to show the rest of the state that Marietta has some significant soccer talent and our girls are learning how to rise to the challenge of competing on a higher level.
Again, a sincere thank you for all who helped these girls, and especially to Wal-Mart for allowing us the space to make this happen.
