Barbara R. Jordan, 87, passed away Saturday (Aug. 4, 2012) at the Marietta Center for Rehabilitation. She was born in Akron, Ohio to the late George and Elsie Hedges Saltkeld.
She was a member of Norwood United Methodist Church. She was a longtime member of the W.I.B.C Bowling Association.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 65 years, Glenn L. Jordan; daughters, Pamela Sue Dick (Ronald) of Williamstown, W.Va., Cheri Lee Andrick (Jim) of Lubeck, W.Va. and Glenna Louise Baker (Bruce) of Columbus, Ohio; six grandsons; one granddaughter; five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Lou Frances Broderick of Cape Coral, Fla. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Alfreda Munnia of Akron, Ohio. Barbara loved bowling, bingo, yard sales and playing cards with her friends.
Services will be Thursday (Aug. 9) at 11 a.m. at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel. The family would like to invite everyone to share in a celebration of Barbara's life at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Williamstown Park Clubhouse.
