Kelda Beachy of Louisville, Ky. and Justin Stewart of Waverly, W.Va. were united in marriage June 30 in LaGrange, Ky. at Prairie'Dise Farm. Jim Ullom officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Greg and Bee Beachy of Louisville, Ky. She is the granddaughter of Ada and Maurice Hooley of LaGrange, Ind.
The bridegroom is the son of Tim and Rena Stewart of Waverly. He is the grandson of Barbara and Kevin Roberts of Williamstown and the great-grandson of Kenneth Watson.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father and given away by both of her parents. The bride wore an elegant, fitted lace dress that flowed out. She wore a headpiece made of flowers using the lace from her dress and made by her mother. She carried a bouquet of white roses wrapped in burlap.
The matron of honor was Kayla Beachy-Ottman of Lousiville, Ky., sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Lindsay Good of Louisville, Ky. The bridesmaids were Katie Beachy, sister of the bride, and Brooke Stewart, sister of the bridegroom. They wore tea-length navy chiffon dresses and carried small bouquets of white roses.
The best man was Brandon Ullom of Waverly. Groomsmen were Robert Ragar of Louisville, Ky., Justin Basham of Bowling Green, Ky., and Christian Cunningham of Batvia, Ohio. The ring bearer was Brody Ullom, son of the best man. They wore brown pants and vests with cowboy boots and boutonnieres of white roses accented with turkey feathers.
The ceremony was held in a working tobacco barn accented with old barrels and hay bales for guests to sit on. A pig roast followed at Prairie'Dise Farm. The cakes were made my Lori MacIver of Williamstown and sat on log stumps made by the father of the bridegroom, Tim Stewart.
The bride is a 2011 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and a 2012 graduate of Midwestern University where she earned her Masters in Biomedical Sciences. She plans to attend medical school next fall.
The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Williamstown High School and 2011 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University. He currently is a Natural Resource Police Officer with the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources.
