Charles A. and Karen Cayton of Mineral Wells, W.Va. announce the engagement of their daughter, Katrina Beth Cayton to Billy Eugene Smith Jr., son of Billy E. Smith Sr. of Parkersburg and Brenda K. Cottrill of Pennsboro, W.Va.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Granville and Lucille Cayton of Weston, W.Va. and Nella Parker and the late Lee O. Parker of Clendenin, W.Va.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the late Billy L. and Marjorie Smith of Parkersburg and Charles R. and Gladys Morris of Parkersburg.
She is a 1999 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and a 2010 graduate of West Virginia University of Parkersburg where she obtained her Bachelor of Applied Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and Regents Bachelor of Arts. She is employed as a Shift Manager (Co-Manager) with Walmart Stores Inc. in Athens, Ohio.
He is a 1995 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and will graduate this fall (2012) from West Virginia University of Parkersburg with his Associate in Science in Business Administration. He plans to further his education and acquire his Bachelors Degree in Business from the university in the near future. He is employed as a Technician at Safelite Auto Glass in Parkersburg.
The wedding ceremony will be held at First United Methodist Church in the Historical District of Parkersburg on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012, at 5:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the Nemesis Shrine Temple in Parkersburg.
After the nuptials, the couple will honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and then reside in Parkersburg.
