Allen Lee Beck, 67, of Williamstown, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday (Aug. 1, 2012) at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg. Allen was a member of VFW Post #5108, American Legion Post #159, was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War, and owned and operated Williamstown Auto Center.
He is survived by his wife, Merilyn Beck; stepchildren, Robert (Beth) Nutter, Tamilyn Nutter, Patrica Jones, Gary Kidder, John (Jane) Kidder; grandchildren, Clay, John, Katelynn, Zac, Robbie, Ryan, Garison, Amelia, Felica; sister Peggy (Don) Burge; brother Jim (Becky) Beck; three nieces; and three nephews.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday (Aug. 18) at 11 a.m. at Tomlinson Park in Williamstown. McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home is assisting the family and messages of sympathy may be sent at www.mslfuneralhome.com.
