In the Marietta Times, coverage of the recent tragic drowning death of Benjamin Miller, was it really necessary to include a front page picture of the body bag on a gurney? Monday's and Tuesday's articles made it painfully clear the young man had lost his life. Why then the picture? There are only two possible explanations.
Either the Times realizes that it has such a huge issue with credibility and accuracy in reporting that they felt compelled to corroborate their reporting with visual evidence, or they just plain have no class. Which is it?
