Lawyer Robin Bozian said she would be suing David Day on behalf of Rex and Elizabeth Scarbrough. The couple was evicted from their apartment after faulty electrical wiring was found, in addition to a cockroach infestation and a leaky roof. The condition of the apartment was in violation of the landlords and tenants chapter of Ohio law.
Developers have set their sights on Buckley Island. Initial plans for development include a ferry service, campground, rustic cabins and water recreation rentals.

John Spence, a Parkersburg-area farmer, was milking his cow when he became irritated with flies. She swung her head around and punctured his eye with her horn.
Frank J. McCauley is the democratic candidate running for the County Recorder position.
