Joseph and Anne Keegan of Marietta announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jennifer Anne Keegan to Andrew Joseph Bird, son of Joseph and Laura Bird of Lake Orion, Michigan.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Joseph and Luada Wesel of Marietta and John and Norma Keegan of Penobscot, Maine.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Alicia Bird and the late Joseph Bird and of Wayne, Michigan, and Dale Brown and the late Doris Brown of Saline, Michigan.
She is a 2002 graduate of Marietta High School, a 2006 graduate of the University of Notre Dame where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, and a 2012 graduate of Marquette University where she earned her Masters in Business Administration. She is employed as a paint operations engineer with PPG Industries in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
He is a 2002 graduate of Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, and a 2006 graduate of Marquette University with a degree in Business Economics. He is employed as a financial advisor with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network and earned his CLU from the American College.
A Nuptial Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Sept. 15, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marietta.
