Tiffani Renee Smith and Brian Keith Heckert Jr. were united in marriage on June 23, 2012, aboard the PA Denny Sternwheeler, owned by the bridegroom's grandfather.
The bride is the daughter of Scott and Deana Smith of Parkersburg. She is the granddaughter of Bob and Linda Smith of Parkersburg, Sharman Matthew of Arnoldsburg, W.Va. and Arnold and Janie Starcher of Fort Myers, Fla. She is also the great-granddaughter of Paul and Margie Evans of Arnoldsburg, W.Va. and Orma Proffitt of Parkersburg.
The bridegroom is the son of Brian and Susan Heckert of Parkersburg. He is the grandson of Heck and Diane Heckert and Debbie Miller, all of Parkersburg.
Given in marriage by her parents, she was escorted to the alter by her father.
The maid of honor was Chelsea Cobb, cousin of the bride and the bridesmaid was Brianna Heckert, sister of the bridegroom. The flower girls were Tristan and Miranda Heckert, both sisters of the bridegroom.
The best man was Joe Bell and the groomsman was Ben Smith, brother of the bride. The ring bearers were Levi Heckert, brother of the bridegroom, and Preston Heckert, son of the bride and bridegroom.
Guests were registered by Oceanna Drehler, sister of the bridegroom. Photographers were Susan Heckert, mother of the bridegroom and Ashley Bonnette.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the bridegroom's grandparents home along the Kanawha River. Guests were serviced a buffet dinner and entertained by a live band.
The couple, along with their children, Preston Carl Keith Heckert and Chevelle Nicole Heckert, will reside in Parkersburg.
