Hazel Taylor, 91, of Marietta, passed away on Monday (Sept. 3, 2012) at The Arbors of Marietta. She was born on June 23, 1921, a daughter of Amos and Haddie Emory Elder. On May 5, 1945, she married Stanley Taylor who preceded her in death.
Hazel is survived by their two children: Barbara and her husband Patrick Oliver of Marietta and Bonnie Ford of Reno; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, and eight great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Icy Elder of Williamstown and Freda Colossi of McConnelsville
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Stanley; son, Michael Taylor; son-in-law, Gary Ford; two great-grandchildren; two sisters; and four brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (Sept. 7) at 1 p.m. at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home with burial in Valley Cemetery.
