We need Charlie Wilson back in Congress working for us because he is one of us. When Charlie was in office he sponsored a bill that would repeal NAFTA, voted against trade deals that sent our jobs overseas, and stood up to his own party and voted against the disastrous Cap and Trade bill that would have cost our area jobs. We need Charlie back in Washington working for us because he is one of us and he knows the policies that help create jobs for our local economies.
I was shocked to learn that Congressman Johnson recently voted with President Obama to create trade agreements with Panama, Columbia, and South Korea. The sixth district represents the manufacturing backbone of the Midwest and these types of votes hurt our local economies. When manufacturing is shipped overseas, we all pay the price. I support Charlie Wilson because he believes the only way to build our middle class is through a strong manufacturing sector right here along the Ohio River.
I believe in Charlie because he believes in us.
