Linda L. Warner, 65, of Harrietsville, died unexpectedly at Marietta Memorial Hospital on Monday (Sept. 10, 2012).
She was born Sunday, July 20, 1947, in Canton, Ohio, to Donald J. and Mabel L. Walker Bennett. She graduated from Stafford High School in 1965. She married Donald L. Warner on Oct. 9, 1965 at Road Fork Baptist Church, where she was a member. Linda was a homemaker and most recently a loving caregiver to her husband. She had been employed by Remington-Rand in Marietta and Glacier Vandervell in Caldwell until her health failed. She enjoyed NASCAR (favorite driver Jeff Gordon), watching the Cincinnati Reds and spending time with her grandchildren and her beloved cat Tiger.
Linda is survived by her husband of 46 years; parents; and daughters, Julie Pottmeyer (Ron White) of Williamstown and Lori (Michael) Dietsch and her grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Haught, all of Marietta; her sisters, Sherry Shively of Marietta, Judy (Bob) Parks of Caldwell and Dawn (Dave) Michael of Marietta; several nieces and nephews; brother and sister-in-laws; and many good friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday (Sept. 14) at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., with Pastor Tim Valentine officiating. Burial to follow in East Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
