People must be responsible for their own actions

September 22, 2012
The Marietta Times

I have seldom heard a liberal state, constructively, his personal beliefs, principles or desires. I have seldom heard a liberal rationally discuss through his personal investigative research why the he believes what he believes. But, he is quick to bash, slander and try to discredit anyone who opposes him without any original thinking.

I believe a person must be responsible for the result of his own actions...physical, emotional or spiritual. "We the people...", our constitutional government, should not be expected to pay for the result of our personal decisions.

Most of my liberally persuaded friends seem to be more concerned about their own personal welfare, than the future of our country as we know and love today.

I worked 55 years paying into a system to insure some benefits to my retirement. This system is now threatened by people who have seldom or never worked a day in their lives. These same people now expect us, "We the people...", to pay for their food, housing, medical and other living expenses. Why?

"We the people..." are the government and we are going bankrupt.
