Congratulations to the Marietta Family YMCA, currently celebrating its 110th anniversary!
For more than a century, the local YMCA has been a leader in the community in providing activities that nurture the body, mind and soul. Thousands of people over the years have turned to the YMCA for its fitness programs, exercise facilities, child care options and more. The Y offers a host of ways to improve your health, and now offers an additional place to do so in its Reno site. But more than that, the YMCA is about building community. That's especially true in the many scholarships it offers local familes that make it possible for children to participate in Y programs.
On Saturday, the public is invited to visit the Marietta Family YMCA to help mark this significant occasion. The Y will offer food and fun, inflatables, games and other activities from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its location at 300 N. Seventh St.
For more than 100 years, the Marietta Family YMCA has been providing this community with healthy activities and programs for the whole family. We hope to see the Y continue to grow and serve this community for another 100 years.
