There seems to be a considerable amount of worry about Mitt Romney's millions. It seems that one should attempt to learn the amount he donates to charity and the amount Barack Obama donates to charity. The opinion seems to be that the Democrats are for the poor people and the Republicans are all for the rich.
Perhaps Christ said it best when a woman came to anoint him. :8, "When his disciples saw it they had indignation saying: To what purpose is this waste?" 9 For this ointment might been sold for much and given to the poor. 10 When Jesus understood it he said unto them, "Why trouble ye the women for she hath wrought a good work upon me. 11 For ye have the poor always with you: but me ye have not always. Matt 26:8-11.
Romney is a businessman. If my understanding of history is correct, this country was built by business, not a welfare program and government handouts. Maybe we need a businessman in the White House.
When Obama took office, our elderly who had worked and paid in to Social Security were told there would be no raise for them, the cost of living had not risen. Yet, gasoline had doubled or tripled on price per gallon. The elderly needed gasoline for doctors appointments and grocery shopping. When the price of gasoline rises, so does the price of food and other goods that are hauled by truck.
When Obama takes a trip abroad (such as London) the presidential limousine is flown over, also officials automobiles, six doctors, millions are spent. When Michelle Obama traveled to Spain with an entourage of at least 60 people, they stayed a week at a five star resort. They sure weren't worrying about the poor there.
Yep, no doubt about it, the Democrats are all for the poor!
