Kalyn Harmer and Jonathan Stephanik were united in marriage June 7 in a beach ceremony at Island Time Paradise in Buxton, N.C. Bonnie Williams performed the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Lynn Harmer of Harleysville, Pa. and Joseph Harmer of Tampa, Fla. She is the granddaughter of Francis J. Harmer, the late Catherine D. Harmer, and the late James and Letitia Jones, all of Glenside, Pa. She is a graduate of West Chester University. She is employed by Main Line Health as a Physician Liaison.
The bridegroom is the son of Tom and Pam Stephanik of Marietta. He is the grandson of the late William and Pauline Whetsell of Marietta, John and Patty Stephanik of Linwood, N.J. and Anna Mae MacKunis of Surprise, Ariz. He is a graduate of Syracuse University. He is employed with The Haverford School as the Associate Director of Marketing and head coach of varsity crew.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father. The maid of honor was Brett Holloway and the bridesmaids were Lindsay Lin and Laura Clevenger.
Groomsmen were Marshall Birkins, Dennis Callan, Jack Gehrs, and Christopher Reed, cousin of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at the event home around the pool immediately following the ceremony.
After a honeymoon at the Playa Mujeres Resort in Cancun, Mexico, the couple resides in Wayne, Pa. with their dog, Phoebe.
