Waterford High School's annual homecoming activities include spirit week from Oct. 1 to 6: Monday- Twin Day, Tuesday- Turtleman Day, Wednesday- Costume Day, Thursday- Rival Day and Friday Green and White Spirit Day. Wednesday will be the Powder Puff football game freshmen and juniors vs. sophomores and seniors girls, a bonfire will follow at 8 p.m. with a pep rally on Friday. A parade and crowning of the king and queen will begin at 6:30 p.m. Followed by the kickoff of the game against Franklin Furnace Green at 7:30 p.m.
The dance will be held from 8 to 11 p.m. Saturday in the Waterford High School gym, with music provided by DJ Mike. Advanced tickets are $5 for singles and $8 for couples. Tickets will also be available at the door but will be $6 for singles and $10 for couples.

Little Miss Waterford for 2012 is Ava Wagner. She is the daughter of Mitch and Brittany Wagner. Ava enjoys dancing in her free time. She attends Putnam Church Preschool, where she enjoys learning and playing with friends.
Little Mr. Waterford for 2012 is Gavin Offenberger. He is the son of Kristi Offenberger. Gavin's hobby is to play soccer. He also attends Putnam Church Preschool, where he also enjoys learning and playing with friends.
Parade marshals for 2012
Parade Marshal, Fred Schweikert, worked for Wolf Creek Schools for 32 years. His wife is Martha and they have three kids and seven grandchildren. He has spent his retirement working in the shop, taking care of the Watertown Cemetery, reading handyman books, woodworking, doing crafts, and doing repair work.
Parade Marshal, Jerry Barnett, worked for Wolf Creek Schools as a teacher for 37 years. His wife is Debbie and they have two kids and three grandchildren. He has spent his retirement taking care of his grandchildren, fishing, and listening to music.

Freshman class attendant is Gillian Tess Teters. Tess is the daughter of Scott and Toni Teters. She is a member of Volleyball, Basketball, Track, Pep Club, Spanish Club, and Student Council. Tess is escorted by Garret Daniel Lemasters. Garret is the son of Bobby and Dawn Lemasters. He is a member of Spanish Club, Pep Club, Golf, Track, Basketball, and 5th Street Youth Group.
Sophomore class attendant is Taylor Catherine Hilverding. Taylor is the daughter of Todd and Monica Hilverding. She is a member of Student Council, Class Secretary for 2 years, Muskingum Valley Leo Club, Spanish Club, Pep Club, Teacher's Aide, Varsity Club, Varsity Basketball, and Varsity Volleyball. Taylor is escorted by Colton Jay McCutcheon. Colton is the son of Travis and Christy McCutcheon. He is a member of FFA, Spanish Club, 4-H, Team I.C.E.-baseball, and Victory Junction Camp.
Junior class attendant is Hannah Shane Dailey. Hannah is the daughter of Kim Dawson and Mike Dailey. She has been a member of track for 2 years, Spanish Club for 4 years, Student Council for 4 years, Pep Club for 4 years, Class President for 4 years, National Honor Society for 2 years, Spanish National Honor Society, and Cheerleading for 1 year. After high school, Sydney plans to attend college at Coastal Carolina in South Carolina and pursue a career in the medical field.
Sydney is being escorted by King candidate Tyler John Miller, son of John and Jill Miller. He has been a member of the Electricity Class at the Washington County Career Center and Eagle Scouts. He likes to race 4-wheelers, hunt, and fish. After high school, Tyler plans to go to the work force.
Queen candidate, Hannah Lynn Offenberger, is the daughter of Ted and Ginnie Offenberger. She has been a member of Pep Club for 4 years, Spanish Club for 3 years, National Honor Society for 2 years, Spanish National Honor Society for 2 years, Key Club Vice President, Leo's Club for 3 years, Class Vice President, Varsity Volleyball for 2 years, Varsity Cheerleading for 2 years, Varsity Basketball for 4 years, and Varsity Softball for 4 years. After high school, Hannah plans to attend a 4 year college and pursue a career in pre-med or pre-law, then continue to graduate school.

She has been a member of Varsity Volleyball for 4 years, Varsity Softball for 4 years, Varsity Basketball for 2 years, Leo's Club for 3 years, Key Club President for 2 years, Spanish Club and Pep Club for 4 years, Spanish National Honor Society for 2 years, Student Council for 2 years, Class Treasurer for 4 years, Teacher's Aide for 4 years, Buckeye Girls State Delegate, and Varsity Club for 4 years. After high school, Tori plans to attend a 4 year college and pursue a career in Athletic Training then move to graduate school to become a Physical Therapist.
