In the best of all possible worlds, a political contender would be as well-informed as Lou Gentile at the debate Monday night for the 30th District Ohio Senate seat. It is a pleasure to experience a debate that is fair, gracious, and polite.
As a matter of fact, Debbie Phillips, another Democratic contender in a debate Monday night, was as well comported as League of Women Voters debates would wish for.
I am pleased to have been at these debates in person and breathed a sigh of relief that we have been represented by these two educated and environmentally concerned statesmen and hope that they will continue to represent me.
