Some Democrats spout party line, but what are their true feelings?

October 8, 2012
The Marietta Times

Voting is a privilege, but most people get stuck in a party. I try to vote for the person. I would vote for Manchin any day but not Charlie Wilson. He may be a nice dresser and a nice man, but he only sees things as his party sees it. He voted for Obamacare which was a terrible choice. I called him when it came up for the vote and he was not in his Marietta office, nor could you leave a message because his message center was full. I then tried his office in Washington and the same thing. Your representative is supposed to be representing, "We the People," that means all in his district, not just what the Democratic party pushed through behind closed doors.

A letter to the editor said Wilson was a man who cares about the people and the best interest of the community over politics and power. He sure is not watching over the senior citizens. Obamacare has taken over $75 billion out of our Social Security to pay for Obamacare. People wake up. Do some research and then vote. A nice man does not necessary mean he is the best man. Democratic or Republican! (Better idea be informed.)

Also Sen. Eric Kearney, I see you are a Democrat, is that why you said what you said about Romney not being a friend of coal? I really do not know but I do intend to be informed before I vote. I can not figure if you know what you say or your just being a Democrat.
