Larry Eugene Emerick, 56, of Lowell, died Sunday (Oct. 14, 2012) at the Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehab Center in Beverly.
He was born on April 6, 1956, in Washington County, and was the son of the late James Robert and Carol Louise Miller Emerick. He retired from RJF International following 26 years. He was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Parkersburg, a member of the Moose Lodge 1823 in Marietta, and had a lifelong passion for music.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Hastings Emerick; two daughters, Angel Weiker of Lowell, Kelly (Tom) Sutton of Canton; his grandchildren, Hannah Weiker, Cale Sutton and Cooper Sutton; three sisters, Darlene (Rick) Driggers of Marietta, Connie Berry of Marietta, Sandra (Randy) Offenberger of Waterford; and a brother, John Emerick of Marietta.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Michael Emerick; and a sister, Cathy Smith.
Services will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Parkersburg with the Rev. Roger Vernick officiating. Burial will follow in Rockland Cemetery. Friends may call at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and for one hour prior to services at the church.
A memorial in Larry's memory may be made to the Muskingum Valley Nursing and Rehab Center or to the Alzheimer's Association.
