Merrill and Carol (Bush) Gladden are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 20, 2012. They were married Oct. 6, 1962, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in McConnelsville by the Rev. Ralph Post.
She is the daughter of the late Russell and Marcia Bush and he is the son of the late Merrill E. and Delores Gladden.
They are the parents of two children: Merrill Lee Jr. (Jamie Lynne) Gladden of Bowling Green, and Angela (Jeff) Drake of Malta. The also have five grandchildren: Dalton and Peyton Drake, Elijah, Isaac, and Isaiah Gladden.
Everyone is invited to an open house in their honor on Oct. 20 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Riecker Building in McConnelsville. Please omit gifts. Just share a memory. The memories will be compiled into a memory book for the couple.
