PORTSMOUTH -Austin Kuhn set a Warren school record here Friday night, rushing for 321 yards on 33 carries and scoring a pair of touchdowns as the Warriors downed Portsmouth, 28-14.
Kuhn eclipsed the previous record of 313 yards held by Justin Frye. He scored the game's first two TDs on a 1-yard run with 4:48 left in the first quarter and from 3 yards out with 11:31 left in the second period.

Portsmouth cut its deficit to 14-7 by halftime, but Warren iced its third win of the season on a 7-yard TD run by Dylan Leffingwell and a recovered fumble in the end zone by Tanner Barrows.
Warren (3-6) will close out its season at home next Friday against Logan.

MERCERVILLE - The Waterford Wildcats dropped a heart breaker 20-14 in overtime to South Gallia Friday night in a TVC matchup.
The Rebels got on the board first on an Ethan Spurlock one yard run. Jacob White ran in the two point conversion to make it 8-0.
The Wildcats responded in the second quarter. Hunter Munjas powered his way into the endzone from seven yards out, and then Waterford tied it at 8-8 when Devon Patterson completed a pass to Wyatt Porter for the two point conversion.
In the fourth quarter, Munjas gave Waterford the lead on a nine yard scoring run. The two point conversion attempt failed to make it 14-8.
South Gallia was able to answer on the ensuing possession courtesy of a 40 yard touchdown run by Spurlock. The Rebels' two point attempt also failed to tie the game at 14-14.
In overtime, after Waterford failed to score, South Gallia hit paydirt on a 16 strike from Spurlock to Landon Hutchinson to end the game.
The loss dropped Waterford to 2-7 on the year. The Wildcats will host Belpre in its final game of the season next week.
Wheeling Central Catholic 26, Caldwell 13
Quarterback C.J. Burch had his hand in all four touchdowns as the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights doubled up on the Caldwell Redskins 26-13 Friday night at the Noble County Fairgrounds.
Burch did all of his damage in the opening half as he scored on touchdown runs of 13 and 27 yards respectively and also connected with Braxton Nolte on a pair of touchdown passes as Wheeling Central Cartholic claimed the non-conference contest.
Trailing 26-0 at halftime, the Redskins managed to cut the lead in half in the final quarter on rushing touchdowns by seniors Caleb VanMeter and Kale Rayner, both playing in their final home game at the Fairgrounds.
Burch led all rushers in the game with 136 yards on nine carries, while the Knight signal caller completed 6-of-11 passes in the game for 134 yards.
VanMeter paced the Redskin attack with 126 yards on 24 carries while freshman Bricker Lori chipped in with 58 yards on 10 touches.
Wheeling Central Catholic improved to 6-3 with the win, while the 'Skins season record drops to 1-8.
St. Marys 39, South Harrison 0
LOST CREEK - Visiting St. Marys (7-1) cruised to a shutout victory over the South Harrison Hawks (3-5), winning 39-0 on Friday night in a Little Kanawha Valley Conference matchup.
The Blue Devils ran for 364 yards on the night, led by David Gray's 137-yard effort and two scores. Noah Spitzer and Andrew Cosper also added a touchdown apiece for St. Marys.
Johnny Riggs put points on the board for St. Marys as well with a 48-yard snare from Cosper with 2:04 left in the first quarter.
The Blue Devils' Garrett Furr blocked a field goal and raced 99 yards for the game's final points as time expired, and preserved the shutout. The Blue Devils have outscored opponents 165-20 over the last three games.
St. Marys likely clinched a Class A state playoff berth and can now focus on improving its seeding when Ravenswood visits Imlay Field next Friday night. The 2-6 Red Devils lost 33-7 at Clay County.
