Robert Paul Cozzens

Robert Paul Cozzens, 76, of Belpre, Ohio died on Friday, October 26 at CCMH Memorial Campus. He was born in Broadwell, Ohio November 4, 1935, to the late Rolla Dean and Pearl Burnfield Cozzens.

After high school, Robert went into the military and served as a Sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict. He worked at Keyser Aluminum as a Printing Press Operator for 35 years. He was a member of Odd Fellows Lodge and a lifetime member of VFW Post #1212.

He is survived by two sons; Scott Cozzens (Shawna) of Vincent, Ohio and Jeff Cozzens (Jean) of Florence, S.C., three grandchildren, Kristin, Kaitlyn, and Anna Cozzens; one brother, John Cozzens (Barbara) of Belpre; and one sister, Lucille White of Stockport, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Kerby Cozzens; and nine brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, beginning at 3 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Belpre with Pastor Mark Eaton officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service on Tuesday from 1-3 PM.
