Toys for Children program looking to help

November 12, 2012
The Marietta Times

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 389, Beverly, Toys for Children Program is once again under way. The program this year is being headed up by Unit 389 President Rhonda Beebe and responsibilities have been divided among several unit members. The program basically will be processed along the same guidelines as in the past. Applications for this program have been delivered to the Beverly/Center Elementary School and the Waterford Elementary School and will be available to families with children attending these schools and families with preschool children living within those elementary school districts. Applications will be accepted according to need using the federal guide lines on poverty and will be checked with other programs for duplications in order to help more families. Letters will go out to all applicants around Dec. 3.

Unit 389 is happy to provide this program with the help of the entire communities of Beverly, Waterford and Center and we are looking forward to another great year.
