Lions Club plans Christmas auction
The Belpre Lions Club will have a Christmas auction to benefit Secret Santa at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Lions Club Community Building, 2113 Murray St., Belpre. There will be new items up for auction. Concessions will be available.
Senior luncheon at recreation center
The Marietta Township senior luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Marietta Township Recreation Center, 260 Sandhill Road, Reno. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Meat will be furnished. The luncheon is open to all senior citizens.
Fort Frye's finance committee will meet
There will be a Fort Frye Local School District board finance committee meeting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the superintendent's office located at Beverly-Center Elementary School, 510 Fifth St., Beverly.
Evergreen presents 'The Masked Marvel'
The Evergreen Arts & Humanities Series at Washington State Community College will present its third program of the 14th season with Michael Cooper, "The Masked Marvel," at 8 p.m. Saturday. The performance begins at 8 p.m. and is free and open to the public; however, advance seat reservations are recommended. Breakfast planned at Our Lady of Mercy
Our Lady of Mercy Church, Lowell Hill Road, Lowell, will hold an all-you-can-eat sausage and pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday. The cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children.
Children invited to 'Arthur Christmas'
Children ages 4 to 12 are invited for a showing of "Arthur Christmas" at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Marietta Library meeting room. Children 5 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. Yard sale Friday at area Masonic lodge
A yard sale will be held at the Beverly Masonic Lodge from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. There will be a bag sale from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.
