John Hamilton, who committed a large number of forgeries, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to two years of hard labor at the Ohio penitentiary.
The proposal for the P.M. & I.U. to furnish lights for the city was looked upon favorably by the joint committee, which formed to investigate the light situation in Marietta. Engineer Reed, of Pittsburgh, will be submitting costs to the committee.
