In 1960, Bob moved his family to a farm at Vincent. He loved hunting and farming and helped to organize the Vincent Ramrods 4-H club, where he served as an advisor for five years.

Bob was an accomplished carpenter and building contractor. He and his son, Bobby, built over 40 homes, as well as church gymnasiums, and churches, including the Belpre Church of the Nazarene, where he and his family are members. Before starting his own business, he was a member of the Carpenters Local 899 in Parkersburg. His clients became his friends.

Bob loved motor homes and traveling. He and his wife made several trips to the West and one of his favorite memories was getting to meet and visit with Roy Rogers.

Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, his three daughters and his son, Brenda Wingrove of Vincent, Bonnie Mugrage (Kevin) of Little Hocking, Bobby Wingrove (Jenni) of little Hocking, and Barbie Jo Zumbro (Leroy) of Vincent.

His grandchildren, Holly Henry Fisher (Clint) of Charleston, S.C., Casey Henry (Stephanie) of Belpre, Amanda Wingrove Richards (Shane) of Vincent. Garin and Zane Zumbro of Vincent, and Samantha Wingrove of Little Hocking. And his great-granddaughter, Katherine Grace Fisher of Charleston, S.C.

Bob dearly loved his grandchildren and enjoyed taking them on trips in his motor home. Having great-granddaughter, Kate, was a special blessing.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, William, and infant brother, Glen; two sisters, Earlene Riggs, and Ruth Young. He is survived by brothers, Dave, James, Frank and a sister, Sue Blanton, as well as several nieces and nephews; in addition to a special sister-in-law and her husband, Lois and Gary McClung.

The Wingrove family would like to thank the Veterans Administration in Marietta, hospice, nurses Nancy and Kathy and a special thank you to Andy Matheny of the VA clinic in Marietta.
