Tubaugh-Trew

Alexandra Tubaugh and Scott Trew were united in marriage on July 12 at 5:30 p.m. at St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Stewart Scott. The bride chose the wedding date in honor of her parents' anniversary which celebrated 32 years of marriage on their daughter's wedding day.

She was given in marriage by her father to the music of steel drums.

The bride is the daughter of Allan and Nancy Tubaugh of Marietta. She is the granddaughter of Ruth Jackson, Helen Drake and Myrna Tubaugh. She is a first grade teacher.

The bridegroom is the son of Kelly and Kevan Memmel of Parkersburg and John Trew of Ravenna. He is the grandson of Sharon Memmel. He is a tax agent.

The bride wore an ivory dress with a pleated skirt with a chiffon overlay and beaded straps with a jeweled flower in her hair. She carried an ivory rose mix.

The matron of honor was Yalanda Mullen, sister of the bride. The bridesmaid was Tiffany Trew, sister of the bridegroom. They wore pale pink tea length dresses of satin and chiffon with champagne gold trim and bow sashes. Custom handmade clutches, a gift from the bride in lieu of bouquets, were carried by the attendants and both mothers.

The best man was Devan Memmel, brother of the bridegroom. The groomsmen were Johnny Trew and Bryan Trew. The usher was Braison Tubaugh, brother of the bride. The ring bearer was Easton Mullen, nephew of the bride.

The reception was held at Bolongo Bay Beach Resort in St. Thomas.

The couple honeymooned in St. Thomas after the wedding. They reside in Columbus.
