Once again, Duke Energy has partnered with Fort Frye High School to boost the local food pantry larders in Beverly, Lowell and Lower Salem.
Rick Barton, of Duke Energy, asked the Fort Frye High School student council to organize a food drive among the homeroom classes.
Duke Energy met the 724 food items donated by the students and faculty with a $1,000 check. This is the fourth year Duke Energy has sponsored a Thanksgiving season food drive in cooperation with Fort Frye Schools.

Bobbi Webb's homeroom class of 10 students contributed 320 items to the drive and were rewarded with a pizza party compliments of Duke Energy.
