Indoor yard sale by the Cancer Blasters

The Belpre Cancer Blasters are holding an indoor yard sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Belpre Lions Club on Murray Street.

St. Mary's cookies and noodles sale

St. Mary's Church, Fourth and Wooster streets, Marietta, will hold its annual homemade Christmas cookies and noodle sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the church basement. This event is sponsored by the Catholic Womens Club.

Breakfast with Santa at Norwood church

Breakfast with Santa will be held from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Norwood United Methodist Church, 23 Colegate Drive, Marietta. Families can eat breakfast, sing songs, listen to stories and visit with Santa. For reservations leave a message at 374-5606.

Relay for Life

kickoff Monday

The Washington County Relay for Life Kickoff will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the Strecker Cancer Center conference room.

Beverly Masonic Lodge luncheon

The Beverly Masonic Lodge will hold a soup luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. There will be all-you-can eat soup, sandwiches and dessert. Donations will be accepted. Delivery is available by calling 984-2826.

Pearl Harbor Day ceremony Friday

Amvets Post 1788 of Marietta will hold a short ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday on the east side of the Putnam Bridge to throw a wreath in the river in honor of Pearl Harbor Day. All are invited to attend.

Religious program

God's Church of Marietta will host a "Journey back to Bethlehem" at the East Muskingum Park Gazebo on Front Street in Marietta from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The live nativity will feature live animals and actors in period costumes. Stoked Coffee will have hot beverages available for purchase.
