Marietta Memorial Hospital will host a visit with Santa Dec. 19. Children 2 to 6 years can attend.
Marietta's Fearing House will be open for a Christmas tour. The Washington County Historical Society will open the House to let people see what Christmas was like back in 1847.

The city is set to investigate various forms of city government with numerous prominent citizens. The point of the investigation is to determine which form of government will benefit the needs of the city.
A special sale at the W.A. Sniffen Co. on Dec. 19 and 20 will have select cow hide suitcases on sale for $4.50 and $5.
