Super Bingo at

St. Mary's School

Bingo will be held at St. Mary's School, 320 Marion St., Marietta, at 7 p.m. Thursday. Doors open at 3:45 p.m. There will be free hot dogs and chips. The cost is $15.

Spaghetti dinner

at Legion Post 159

A Third Thursday Spaghetti Dinner will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday at American Legion Post 159 in Williamstown.

Barlow Twp. trustees to meet Dec. 28

The Barlow Township Trustees will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Dec. 28. The purpose of the meeting is to open and read bids for a garbage contract.

The trustees will also hold a special meeting at 9 a.m. Dec. 31 to close out the year and an organizational meeting for the coming year will immediately follow.

The time of the next regular meeting on Jan. 14 has been changed to 7 p.m.

All meetings will be held at the Township Hall at 567 Warrior Drive, Vincent.

Fort Frye finance committee meets

There will be a Fort Frye Local Schools Finance Committee meeting at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the superintendent's office located at Beverly-Center Elementary School, 510 Fifth St., Beverly.

County health office lists office closings

The Washington County Health Department will close at 2 p.m. Thursday. The office will reopen for regular hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday. The department will be closed Monday and Tuesday for the Christmas holiday and reopen Dec. 26 with regular hours.

The immunization clinic scheduled for Dec. 28 at the health department will close at noon due to a staff shortage. There will be no TB tests offered at the Dec. 26 clinic. Regular immunization hours will resume the following week.

Santa Bike Giveaway at 9 a.m. Saturday

The second annual Santa Bike Giveaway will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at 40 Colegate Drive, Marietta. Santa will give away refurbished bikes until all are gone. Children ages 3 to 15 can meet Santa and get a bike. The child must be present and accompanied by an adult to receive a bike.

MHS'?Holiday

Homecoming Friday

Marietta High School's annual Holiday Homecoming will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday in the high school library. All alumni and former and present employees are welcome to come enjoy refreshments, music, old yearbooks and displays.
