The Coats for Kids campaign for 2012 was successful with 462 coats distributed. We would like to thank all the wonderful residents of Washington County for their generous donations of new and gently used coats, scarfs, gloves and hats this year. Also, we would like to thank The Marietta Times, Peoples Bank, Washington Electric Coop., Inc., Promanco, Washington/Morgan County Community Action for all their contributions to the campaign of setting up racks, tables and barrels and transporting everything to the distribution site. Also we would like to thank RSVP volunteers, Sallye Bom, Shirley Duckworth, Jaye Warman, Evelyn Worstell, Sandy Bach, Joanne Ingram and Donna Schul for their assistance on distribution days. Without the help of these organizations and people, this program would not be possible.
