Jim and Sandy Clark Irvin of Little Hocking will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary on Dec. 24. They were married on Christmas Eve, 1962, at the Decatur Methodist Church in Little Hocking by the Rev. C. Eldon Boggs.
He is the son of the late Rev. Robert and Dorothy Hollis Irvin. She is the daughter of the late Byron and Ethel King Clark.
The couple both retired from the U.S. Postal Service, as rural letter carriers, with over 30 years of service.
They have two daughters: Dawn L. Irvin of Little Hocking and Wendy J. Irvin of Belpre.
A family dinner, hosted by their daughters, was held at an earlier date at da Vinci's restaurant in Williamstown in celebration of the occasion. Cards may be sent to the couple at 90 Burke Hollow Road, Little Hocking, OH, 45742.
