Olivia A. Sprague, of Fleming, received the Mildred Biery Grant from the Ohio Child Conservation League (OCCL) Student Loan Fund.
The OCCL is a nonprofit, non-sectarian, educational organization. It was organized in 1918 to promote more effective standards of family living and to establish closer communication between home and community.
At Waterford High School, Sprague is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Muskingum Valley Leo Club, varsity basketball, varsity cheerleader, 4-H student body president, Spanish club, teacher's aide, and Key Club. She is senior class valedictorian.

Sprague is the daughter of Doug and Janelle Sprague and will graduate in 2012. She plans to study nursing at either Ashland University or Otterbein University.
