The Williamstown Eagles will hold a square dance from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday with four hits and a miss. There will be food available, a cake walk and a 50/50 drawing. There is a $4 cover charge.

Free visits to the Oliver Tucker Museum in Beverly are being offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Visitors can stop in and see local items of historical interest or teachers can plan a future trip for students.

Lowell will hold end of year joint meeting
The Village of Lowell is holding an end of year joint council and board of public affairs meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the village building, 308 Walnut St. The meetings are open to the public.
Benefit for family at community center
A benefit gospel sing, auction and dinner for the Cline and Hysell family will be held at 4 p.m. Jan. 12 at the Cutler Community Center. The family had a house fire and lost nearly everything. Singers will include LuLu Mayle, Kayla Sparkman, Kay Cook, Irvin Mayle, Jeff Norman and Tim King. Those attending are asked to bring a covered dish. Donations for the auction and family are being accepted.

Year-end meeting for Fearing trustees
The Fearing Township trustees' year-end meeting will be at 8 a.m. Monday in the Fearing Township office in Stanleyville. The regular meeting for January has been changed to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 8.
Beekeepers group meeting at WCCC
The Mid-Ohio Valley Beekeepers' Association will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Washington County Career Center. This will be the last meeting before the Honey Bee Expo 2013, which will be held Feb. 2 at the WVU Parkersburg Campus, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. Guest are welcome at all meetings.

Jim Blair and Friends will hold a winter sing from 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 5 at Cutler Community Center. Food and drinks will be available. Donations are appreciated.
