- Mrs. Betty Shingleton, of Parkersburg, burned to death in a fire that consumed her home.
- Dean Joseph Manley and Professor E.E. Phillips will represent Marietta College at the Ohio College Association's meeting. Manley will address the meeting on "Bergson's Theory of Knowledge."
