CORNING - The Waterford girls' basketball team needed a bounce-back win - and got it.
Re-grouping after last Saturday night's 54-26 setback to arch-rival Fort Frye, the Jerry Close-coached Lady Wildcats routed host Miller, 72-32, in a Tri-Valley Conference Hocking Division matchup Thursday night.
"The girls moved the ball around better, and were more patient tonight," Close said. "They settled down."
Randee Seevers had 13 points to lead four Waterford double-digit scorers. Brooke Drayer and Dani Drayer each chipped in with 12 markers, and Regan Porter netted 10.
Rebecca Hock paced the Lady Falcons with eight points.
