Victoria Louise Binegar from St. Marys and Nathan (Barney) Booth from Newport were united in marriage on Oct. 12, 2012. The ceremony took place atop a hill on "The Binerosa" where guests were given hayrides to the top by the bride's uncle, James Binegar, with hay bale seats and decorations including mums, black-eyed Susan vines, scaevola, pumpkins, and cornstalks. The ceremony was officiated by Lloyd Westbrook, evangelist for the Newport Church of Christ.
The bride is the daughter of Johnny and Connie Binegar of St. Marys and the granddaughter of Sandra and the late Lyle Binegar of St. Marys, and Gary and Pat Nichols of Newport.
The bridegroom is the son of Donnie and Karen Booth of New Matamoras. He is the grandson of Dean and Donna Booth Sr. of Newport, Ronnie and Wilda Eddy of Fleming, and Shirley Eddy of New Matamoras.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father and Leroy, his dog, the bride wore a silk dupioni and chiffon ball gown with draped waist, chapel-length train, gathered bodice, and a Swarovski crystal belt. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of orange and yellow sunflowers, celosia, wax flower, and turkey feathers.
The maid of honor was the bride's sister, Olivia Binegar. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Binegar and Jessie Hager. They each wore a different fall colored dress with cowboy boots. They carried bouquets of hand-tied orange and yellow sunflowers, celosia, gerbera daisies, wax flower, and turkey feathers.
The bridegroom, his best man, Donnie Booth Jr. of New Matamoras, and his groomsmen, Ashley Carr of Newport, and Caleb Enright of Arvilla, W.Va., all wore black western tuxedo jackets, vests and ties to match the bridesmaid dresses, blue jeans, cowboy boots as well as a boutonniere of gerbera daisy, hypericum berries and turkey feathers.
The bridesmaids and groomsmen were each accompanied down the aisle by one of the bride's family dogs, Mabelene, Maggie, Lew-Lew, Cooper, Jethro and Ike. They each wore colors matching their escorts. The ceremony to music was provided by Brandon Elliott of Parkersburg. The bridal party entered the ceremony to the song "The Wind" by Zac Brown Band, the bride entered to "Going to the Chapel" by The Shirelles, and exited to the song, "Welcome to the Family" by Little Big Town.
The reception dinner was held in the barn at "The Binerosa" where the ceiling was draped with multi-colored materials to look like a patchwork quilt. The walls were lined with old quilts that were created by different generations of the couple's families, and all of the dinnerware, chairs, and silverware were mismatched with scented candles in Mason jars for the occasion.
The father of the bridegroom compiled a CD of the couple's favorite songs which was played during the reception. The bride's aunt, Vickie Binegar, and cousin, Chelsea Binegar, prepared cups of candy corn and peanuts wrapped in sheer netting and tied with tags with the newlyweds' names and wedding date for guests.
The couple rented a cabin near Pigeon Forge, Tenn. for a week long honeymoon.
They now reside at 80 Charles St., Newport.
