Shirley Ann Forshey, 74, of Lower Salem, Ohio, passed away at 5:20 a.m. on Thursday (Jan. 31, 2013) at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
Shirley was born on Aug. 27, 1938, in Stow, Ohio, to the late Harold and Mabel Zimmerman Baker. She was a graduate in 1956 from Harriettsville High School. Shirley attended baptist church and was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #584.
She is survived by two sons, Kent Forshey (Lisa) of Marietta, Clifton Forshey of Florence, S.C.; five grandchildren, Cory, Cameron Forshey of Marietta, Blake, Brianna and Brooke Forshey of Florence, S.C.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Dwain Forshey; sister, Barbara Williams and her brother, Norman Baker.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday (Feb. 4) at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., with Dick Saltzwedel officiating. Friends may call on Sunday (Feb. 3) from 4 to 8 p.m. followed by an Eastern Star Service. The committal service will take place in Salem Township Cemetery.
