'Hotel Transylvania' at Marietta library
Children ages 5 to 16 are invited to the Marietta location of the Washington County Public Library for a viewing of "Hotel Transylvania" at either 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. Feb. 9 in the library meeting room.
To register, stop by the Youth Services Department or call 373-1057, Ext. 219. The Marietta Library is located at 615 Fifth St.

The Washington County Relay For Life will have a team captain's meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Strecker Cancer Center conference room.

American Girl
program at Barlow
The Barlow Library will hold an American Girl "Meet Caroline" program at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 19. There will be a book discussion, craft and food. The free program is for school age children. Registration is requested.

Shrimp and beer
dinner at Post 64
A shrimp and beer dinner will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at American Legion Post 64, on the corner of Wooster and Eighth streets. The cost for dinner is $10. There will be a round and square dance from 7 to 10 p.m. with 4 Hits and A Miss. The cost is $4 per person. There will be a 50/50 drawing. The event is open to the public. A dinner and dance are held the first Friday of each month at the post.

Jim Blair and Friends will hold a sing at the Cutler Community Center from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday. There will be homemade soups, desserts, sandwiches and drinks available at the canteen. The third Sunday sings are scheduled to being again in March.
