Marietta Teen Center board members will test their drink mixing skills when they serve as guest bartenders at the Lafayette Hotel from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 3. Tips earned will be contributed to the Marietta Teen Center Inc.
The Washington County unit of the American Cancer Society will offer singing valentines from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12 for a $10 donation to the cancer society. The singing valentines and carnations will be delivered by area groups.

Williamstown City Council approved an agreement with the local cable television company, allowing the city to collect 3 percent of all cable sales. This amount is double the amount of any other local community.
Marietta Rotary members are seeking donations to their Polio Plus program which helps immunize Third World children against the disease.
