McCONNELSVILLE - Clinton Campbell is a senior at Morgan High School. He has been selected to represent Ohio and the USA this summer in Australia. Campbell will be running the 300 hurdles and other events yet to be determined. He has been selected by Down Under Sports.
Down Under Sports believes that sport is the international language common to all countries and people around the world and that it can help remove cultural and international barriers. Therefore, the mission of Down Under Sports is to promote the growth, development and self-esteem of the individual athlete through sport; to raise the level of awareness and competition to the benefit of both the host country and the participating athlete; to forge friendships that bridge the gap of both distance and time, through mutual competition that promotes health and sportsmanship.
The 2013 Down Under Sports program will include competition in track and field, cross country, wrestling, football, volleyball and basketball. Down Under Sports' goal is to continue to provide athletes who excel in their sport the opportunity to experience the culture beauty and grandeur of the land Down Under all within the framework of spirited and intense competition.

Clinton Campbell is planning to go to Australia this summer.
Campbell is a two-time MVL champ in the 300 hurdles, District champion, and State qualifier in the 300 hurdles. So far in his high school career he has earned three letters in track, four letters in football and three in wrestling. Campbell will be attending Tiffin University this fall where he will major is Sports Management and Sports Science and continue his track career. Campbell is the son of Bill and Tisha Dodd, and Jim and Pat Campbell. He is the grandson of Homer and Nancy Weekley, Barbara Dodd, and Rick and Charlene Campbell. Campbell will be spending the next few months raising money for his trip to Australia.
